Yak-40 Rusya’da konfor ve güvenilirliği birleştiren en iyi sivil uçaklardan biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. 1981 öncesinde 1000’den fazla Yak-40 ve onun versiyonları üretilmiştir.

A.S. Yakovlev Tasarım Bürosu Pazar taleplerini de dikkate alarak Yak-40’ın uçuş performanslarını arttırmak için verimli çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.

Uçağın ağırlığı ve yakıt kapasitesi 2500km’ye kadar uçuş menzilini sağlayacak şekilde 17.2 tona ve 6 tona yükseltilmiştir.

Uçak yolcu, kargo veya yolcu+kargo kombinasyonlarında kullanılabilir.

Ekipman:

Avrupa hava sahasında uçabilmek ve BRNAV RNP-5 bölgesel navigasyon gereksinimlerini karşılayabilmek için Yak-40 uçakları aşağıdaki ekipmanlarla donatılmaktadırlar.

·        uydu navigasyon sistemi GPS;

·        havada çarpışmayı önleyici TCAS sistemi;

·        yere erken yaklaşım uyarı sistemi SGPWS.

Yak-40 uçakları ICAO’nun Cilt-1, Bölüm-3, Ek-16 daki ses seviyeleri ile ilgili gereksinimlerini aynen yerine getirmektedir.

Kabin:

Yolcu kabini yüksek konfor şartlarında 32 ila 36 yolcu alacak tarzda yapılmıştır.

Opsiyonel olarak yolcu kabini 1. numaralı yolcuya öncelik tanıyacak tarzda VIP kategorisinde de tasarlanabilir.

Gelişim:

General:

Yak-40 is considered to be one of the best civil aircraft in Russia that combines comfort and reliability. More than 1000 Yak-40 aircraft and its versions were produced in Russia before 1981.

A.S.Yakovlev Design Bureau is fruitfully proceeding in improving Yak-40 flight performance taking into account market demands in aircraft of that type.

The aircraft take-off mass and fuel capacity were increased up to 17,2 tons and 6 tons correspondingly that ensure range of flight up to 2500 km.

The aircraft can be used in passenger, cargo and cargo passenger versions.

Equipment:

To provide regular flights in European airspace Yak-40 aircraft is now equipped with the following additional instrumentation that ensures meeting BRNAV RNP-5 zone navigation requirements:

·        satellite navigation system GPS;

·        flight collision avoidance system TCAS;

·        early ground proximity warning system SGPWS.

Yak-40 aircraft meets ICAO "International civil aviation convention" Volume 1, Chapter 3, Appendix 16 Requirements on noise level.

Salon:

The passenger salon can accommodate 32 - 36 seats with high level of comfort.

Optionally, the passenger salon can be rearranged in different lay-outs to enhance comfort for VIP category with special place for Number 1 Person.

Development:

At present time the efforts are taken for flight airworthiness support and life time increase up to 40 000 flight hours, 35 000 flights and service life up to 38 years with time intervals between repairs up to 18 years.

Services on Yak-40 and Yak-42

We are ready to offer a number of technical and interior design projects to make Yak-40 and Yak-42 passenger cabin more comfortable and joyful. We can propose a series of complete interior layouts that are in operation as well as new versions as a customer options.

You can order a set of ready-made items: seats, couch, kitchen-ware, entertainment systems, produced by leading Russian and foreign companies, according to your specific requirements. Each cabin could have individual design and decorating in broad color and materials spectrum.

Yak-40 modernization and updating:

·                     Passenger cabin transformation in business class on 8 -16 persons,

·                     on 12 - 20 passengers economical class,

·                     reequipment of passenger cabin for 23 - 36 persons,

·                     Optimum cabin and equipment layout,

·                     Individual design of each cabin,

·                     Interior finishing with Russian and foreign materials,

·                     High-comfort seats installation, updating of routine seats,

Galley, buffet, refrigerating equipment and entertainment system installation.

New avionics for international airlines:  

To provide operations in European region with BRNAV RNP-5 requirements, Yak-40 is now equipped with additional navigation-flight avionics. There are installed satellite navigation system GPS, flight collision avoidance system TCAS and early ground proximity warning system EGPWS.

The Yak-42D aircraft are equipped now with satellite navigation system GPS, flight collision avoidance system TCAS-II version 7, equipment for flights in RVSM conditions, early ground proximity warning system SRPBZ and radio communication satiations for 8,33 KHz frequency range. All this avionics is certified.

YAK-40 – Orta menzilli yolcu uçağı (32 yolcu). VIP uçağı olarak ta tasarlanabilir (4-8 yolcu). 2 pilot ve 1 uçuş mürettebatı vardır.

YAK-40 – middle range passenger aircraft (32 passengers), can be redone for VIP purposes (4-8 passengers), 2 pilots, 1 flight attendant.

Design and Performance Data:  Cruise speed – 550 km/h, maximum range – 2000 km, maximum height – 8000m.  This type of the aircrafts is available with the prolonged resource, and can be modernized to prolong the range to 2500 km.
